His maternal grandfather was a proud union member his entire career, and his own father tried to unionize his workplace—only to see the company shut down in retaliation. Mike knows firsthand what happens when workers are silenced and corporations call all the shots.

In Congress, he’ll be a champion for working people and organized labor.

Mike understands our national security challenges better than most. He led combat troops, helped evacuate embassies, and advised senior military leaders at the Pentagon.
